Ben En National Park covers a vast area of over 14,000 hectares, stretching from Nhu Thanh to Nhu Xuan Districts in Thanh Hoa Province. This is a region of mountains, forests, and lakes, spanning more than 16,000 hectares, still maintaining its wild beauty with a diverse and rich ecosystem. The park is home to many rare and endangered species such as elephants, bears, tigers, white-headed langurs, green ironwood, latifolia, and chò chỉ trees. There are green ironwood trees that have stood for over a thousand years. Ben En also boasts more than 4,000 hectares of lake surface with 21 large and small islands, creating an incredibly charming natural landscape. The Hai Van mountain range has many beautiful caves, such as Ngoc Cave and Suoi Tien Cave, which attract adventure and exploration-loving visitors.
